Our approach
DEHAAS follows a fixed route: search, find, ask, first indication, specialist verification and then quotation or execution. You know what to expect in advance and stay in control at every step.
- Start directly: online, by phone or by e-mail
- First technical indication without obligations
- Formal conclusions always reviewed by a specialist
- Clear quotation before any work is carried out
The Welding & Quality Assistant is the front door. Fast for you, efficient for us, and always with a clear boundary: formal technical conclusions come from an experienced specialist, never from software alone.
Step 1: ask your question
Ask your question via the Welding & Quality Assistant, by phone on +31 6 29 72 37 91 or by e-mail. Describe the situation as you would to a colleague: material, thickness, welding process, standard and what you want to achieve. Drawings, specifications or an existing WPS are always welcome.
Step 2: first technical indication
You quickly receive a first indication: what is going on, which standard applies, which direction makes sense and which information is still missing. This indication helps you move forward, but is deliberately not a formal approval or release.
Step 3: specialist review
For formal conclusions, qualification ranges, acceptance criteria or decisions that affect safety or certification, an experienced welding specialist reviews the file. You receive a substantiated answer you can build on, with references to the relevant standard.
Step 4: quotation for the next step
If more is needed, for example a qualification project, an on-site inspection or structural support, you first receive a clear quotation with scope, assumptions, planning and price build-up. You decide, we only start after your approval.
Step 5: execution and delivery
During execution we keep you informed with short lines and reports you can act on directly. Every project ends with a complete, verifiable file, so you stand strong towards your client, auditor or notified body.
Why this approach works
Combining digital speed with human accountability avoids two classic problems: waiting for a consultant to answer a five-minute question, and blindly trusting an automated answer on a decision that requires a professional.
- Quick questions get quick answers
- Heavy questions get thorough review
- You only pay when real work is needed
- Everything is recorded and traceable
Frequently asked questions
Asking a first question and receiving a first indication is free of charge. Only when a specialist performs a formal review or work is carried out do you receive a proposal in advance.
Simple questions often receive an indication straight away. Specialist reviews are scheduled in consultation, usually within a few working days.
Yes. DEHAAS works from Menaam (Friesland) for clients across Europe and North America, and abroad for vendor inspections.
